CHICAGO, IL – Illinois Rising Action launched a television and digital campaign last week exposing the Pritzker administration’s record of serving the political class while burdening families with higher taxes and failing to assist thousands of Illinoisans with unemployment claims when they needed help most.
“Tax hikes, taxpayer-funded pay raises for Springfield politicians, and a broken unemployment filing system embody Governor Pritzker’s record in office for Illinoisans,” said Kayleen Carlson, executive director of Illinois Rising Action. “It is clear that he and his administration have forgotten that they don’t work for the politicians in Springfield, they work for Illinois families.”
Illinois Rising Action is associated with America Rising – a political action committee made up of Republican operatives that have worked for high profile politicians from Congresswoman Liz Cheney to former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and former Illinois Congressman Mark Kirk.
The campaign’s ad, “Failed”, is appearing throughout the state.
