CHICAGO – A story in the Peoria Journal-Star reports on a Morning Consult poll in which Illinois' Governor Pritzker finished 42nd among the governors throughout the nation.
On the list with a 44% approval rating and a 33% disapproval rating, Pritzker's popularity is sagging, the headline says. Another 21% of those polled were undecided on Pritzker seven months into his four year term.
At the bottom of the nationwide list was Ned Lamont, a Democrat from Connecticut, with a 32% favorable rating. In 2018, Illinois' former Governor Bruce Rauner's favorables were at an even lower 25% favorable rating.
