A former banking lobbyist has left the Hill and rejoined the lobbying world.
Bill Hulse, most recently Rep. Randy Hultgren's financial policy adviser, is now a director at the Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness, a part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Hulse worked as a lobbyist at the Consumer Bankers Association before joining Hultgren's office in 2015. Hultgren is vice chair of the Financial Services' Capital Markets, Securities and Investment Subcommittee.
The CCMC spent about $450,000 on lobbying last year as a part of the Chamber's $82.2 million in federal advocacy expenses.
