Rep. Ives calls for state budget that spends less than revenue projections

WHEATON – Rep. David McSweeney (R-South Barrington) isn't alone in his resistance to the idea of making hardworking Illinois taxpayers pay more just to keep the state's luxurious political class comfy – State Rep. Jeanne Ives (R-Wheaton) made a public statement on her Facebook page today in opposition to a budget with an income tax hike and no meaningful reforms.
