CHICAGO – Republican U.S. Senator Mark Kirk wants Illinois Hispanic voters to know that he "does not support Trump" in a new ad rolling out Wednesday on Telemundo and Univision.
In Spanish, Kirk condemns the top of his own party ticket, saying in the ad that when Trump has said bad things about immigrants, "I have spoken out against him."
He also says he has worked with Democrats to fight gang violence. Kirk is being challenged by Democrat Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth in November.
