BARRINGTON HILLS, IL – Thursday, Republican candidate for State Senate Martin McLaughlin announced a number of endorsements from leaders throughout the 26th Senate District. From Lake, Cook and McHenry Counties, the endorsements include:
- Chuck Bartels, Lake County Board Member
- Keith Brin, Lake County Circuit Court Clerk
- Aaron Del Mar, Cook County Republican Party Chairman
- Ann Majewski, McHenry County Coroner
- LouAnn Majewski, former McHenry County Board Member
“I appreciate how hard these county leaders work to serve their communities, and am honored to have their support,” said McLaughlin. “As the only candidate with experience covering all four counties in the 26th District, not to mention the only candidate with a proven history of cutting spending and lowering taxes, they recognize that I am ready to go to Springfield to fight for conservative reform on behalf of my neighbors in the 26th District."
The 26th District covers portions of Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. As Village President of Barrington Hills, McLaughlin represents areas in Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. As Chairman of the Barrington Area Council of Governments, McLaughlin serves communities in Lake, McHenry, Cook, and Kane Counties. McLaughlin grew up in Kane County, his business is located in Cook County, and he currently lives in McHenry County.
