If you spend even a little time watching what is laughingly referred to as “the news,” be it on cable or traditional network television, you will no longer wonder why many Americans walk around in a low-information fog about the current presidential race.
Here’s what I saw in the last couple of weeks. One candidate, Donald J. Trump, who does seem a tad thin-skinned, is enraged that a political action committee for Sen. Ted Cruz used a provocative, 15-year old photo of his wife, done as part of her work as a professional model for a mainstream magazine, in a political ad, so he tweets a very unflattering picture of another candidate’s wife.
That candidate, Sen. Ted Cruz, says something bizarre in response, suggesting that, while he might want to have sex with a rat, that wouldn’t be the case if that rat were Donald Trump. (Listen here at 17:16).
Donald Trump’s campaign manager is charged with simple misdemeanor battery after a female reporter claims he manhandled her during a post-presser scrum. The other two candidates self-righteously and sanctimoniously each declare that they would never retain such a reprobate in their employ.
The self-absorbed, delusional RINO from Ohio, Gov. John Kasich, eats pizza with a knife and fork, causing a firestorm on social media. A barely-disguised democrat hack masquerading as a “journalist” tries to score political points by asking a hypothetical question about abortion in an interview with a ridiculously-unprepared Trump, who blurts out a very ill-advised answer.
Intelligent observers wonder what any of these “issues” have to do with undoing the horrific damage that our first Marxist president has done over the last 7 years.
In short, while the pretend news is telling you about the daily soap opera consisting of personalities, feuds, and the latest poll, under the radar, Obama continues to "remake" our country with open borders, illegal amnesty and Muslim "refugees" seeded into Middle America. In addition, he is following through with his plan to release the remaining Gitmo detainees, who at this point aren’t exactly there for singing too loud in church, or should I say praying too many times a day on those lovely taxpayer-provided prayer rugs. They are the worst of the worst. He is also continuing to commute the sentences of more “non violent” drug offenders, largely because of his racialist belief that our criminal justice system is inherently “unfair” and “racist.”
It would seem that someone who hails from Chicago, where drug dealing fuels gun violence and murder every single day, would understand that drug dealing is anything but “non-violent,” but then this is the guy who thinks if we’re really, really nice to people who have declared that murdering as many Americans as possible is their number one objective, that they will have a change of heart, so how can we be surprised? Just in case you missed these stories, here are the details.
Pedal to the Metal on Importing Unvetted Syrian Refugees, 98% of Whom are Muslims
You may know that the Obama Regime has promised to bring in 10,000 Syrian “refugees” into this country during Fiscal Year 2016. So far, though during the current fiscal year, which started October 1, only 1200 have been admitted. Why? Because as the government has admitted repeatedly, it’s impossible to vet them, and it takes time to try.
So, safety and security be damned, the administration announced this week that somehow Obama’s quota will be met, by which I mean the floodgates will open, and 8800, chosen by the U.N. will be “seeded” in America by “volags” (volunteer agencies) that profit handsomely by doing this fine work. Releasing More Dangerous Islamist Maniacs from Gitmo
As World Net Daily reports, “The Obama administration is set to release another dozen detainees at Guantanamo Bay in the coming weeks, including at least one who was previously dubbed one of the “worst of the worst” in America’s war on terror, and who has lost half his body weight during a years-long hunger strike.
Others set for release have been incarcerated in part because they’ve killed Americans, Fox News reported.
“I do not have a timeline on when particular detainees will be transferred from Guantanamo,” said Defense Department spokesman Commander Gary Ross, in widely reported comments. “However, the administration is committed to reducing the detainee population and to closing the detention facility responsibly.”
Once again, Obama wants Gitmo closed. End of story. Never mind that as many as 1 in 3 of the previously-released Gitmo detainees have returned to violent jihad.
Commuting the Sentences of More Federal Drug Offenders
Barack Obama has commuted the sentences of 248 individuals – more than the previous six Presidents combined, something that he is very proud of doing, which is a bit surprising, given the very high rates of recidivism among released prisoners. These drug dealers may re-offend, but at least Barack Obama can say he tried to fight racism in America, which is a small price to pay, albeit one that innocent people, not the One, will pay.
People accuse Obama of being a serial liar and promise breaker, but as these stories demonstrate, that’s not completely true. Obama is determined to keep certain promises; specifically, those that make us less safe and secure, and play to his belief that America is forever blemished by its racist heritage and needs to be cut down to size. When it comes to the many promises he made regarding his heinous health care scheme about your health care costing less, and your being able to keep your health insurance and your doctor, it is true that he flat out lied through his braying jackass teeth to fool the gullible and the ignorant.
These three stories obviously don’t have the “sex appeal” of the big “news” that dominates media coverage, but I thought you might like to know. Now, carry on, and stay tuned for the latest results from “Dancing with the Stars.”
