By Mark Weyermuller -

What better way to spend a Sunday then to head north to Packer Country for the day. I drove up to University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for a taping of the Fox News Show, On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.  The state's presidential primary is Tuesday.

It was billed as a town hall meeting with Donald Trump. This was my second time as member of the studio audience in the past three weeks. I attended a John Kasich town-hall meeting in Chicago before the Illinois primary. It's always fun to be on Fox News.

I arrived early to make sure I got a good seat. We had to arrive two hours early to go through Secret Service security checks. We have a saying, "It's not a great event without protesters."

We were not disappointed as a smaller group of about 70 people marched and chanted against Donald Trump. I spoke to a few of them but could not get a straight answer who they supported and why. They were kept across the street and made little impact as Trump arrived In an underground garage.

Greta was born in nearby Appleton so she is popular here.

Inside the one hour show went without incident.  Trump took a questions from Greta and a few selected members of the audience. Trump's answers center around "making America Great Again." For me, Donald Trump is very charismatic, entertaining, and likable. He gave good answers with many popular ideas like building the wall. He was a little weak on his healthcare solutions being vague about cutting costs and improving coverage with  purchases across state lines.

Trump took an audience question on raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour. He say he opposed it. He also clarified his position on abortion that he was pro-life except for a few exceptions.

One interesting guest sitting on my row was Melissa Young – a former Miss Wisconsin. Last week in another Trump town hall, she gave a tearful thank you because Trump sent her a handwritten note giving her encouragement and helping her eight year old son with a college scholarship. Young is terminally ill and is said to have only six months to live. Trump brought her up on stage after the show and spend considerable time with her and her family. She was gracious afterwards even posing for a quick photo with me.

Ted Cruz has a double lead in most polls which could result Trump not getting the magic number of 1237 delegates.   Cruz is spending considerable time and effort in Wisconsin this week including getting a key endorsement from Governor Scott  Walker. The Wisconsin primary is this Tuesday, April 5, 2016.  It continues to be interesting.
