PEORIA – Conservative Illinois Congressman Darin LaHood is featured in the new Kirk for U.S. Senate campaign ad, although LaHood and Kirk totally disagree on social issues.
In the new Kirk ad, LaHood says "Mark Kirk has been for us here in Peoria, Illinois. You look at what he's done, particularly when it comes to crime in Peoria. He's always been at the forefront."
We're fairly certain LaHood means that Kirk has fought crime in Peoria, not participated in it. We're hoping to get the details on exactly what Kirk did for Peoria's crime.
