There is nothing like hanging out on the Chicago River at a outdoor cafe on a beautiful fall day. What better setting to see current Illinois State Comptroller Leslie Munger then at a meet and greet fundraiser. This event was hosted by the Illinois Republican Women PAC.
From the campaign:
As State Comptroller, Leslie Munger has spoken out for fiscal discipline and responsibility, raising awareness of the consequences of the state’s reckless spending and calling for a new approach to finances.
Leslie provided a steady hand in leading the state through unprecedented hardship caused by a year-long budget impasse, prioritizing payments for nonprofits and social services. With small businesses, hospitals, schools and others having to wait months for payment from the state, she required state elected officials – herself included – to stand in line as well for their paychecks.
A former brand management business executive with Helene Curtis/Unilever, Leslie knows from experience how to do more with less while still providing essential services.
She is committed to putting taxpayers first and ensuring that Illinois keeps its promises for a change.
There are just 46 days till the election. Leslie Munger asks for your vote on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
