Everywhere people are waking up, beginning to take notice of the Transgendered Agenda playing out in our generation. There is, however, a lack of understanding about what it will truly mean for our society if the Transgenders get their way. Detailed at the "Transgendered Agenda" website, in clear common sense language that even the progressive liberals who are pushing the agenda can't dismiss or deny, are the far reaching implications of the agenda upon our society.
The Transgender Agenda, although a rather recent national phenomena, is spreading like wildfire across this nation and is being promoted as a civil rights issue. Even minors are seeking body-disfiguring operations with parental approval, as "progressives" promote gender confusion to kids.
Linda Harvey, founder of Mission America and one of the world’s leading pro-family experts on the aggressive agenda to corrupt youth with homosexualism and transsexualism, spoke recently in the Chicago area. Her topic for the evening was “How the Gay and Transgender Lobbies Are Selling Gender Deviance & Body Mutilation to America’s Youth.”
Mrs. Harvey wrote the book, Maybe He's Not Gay (Anther View on Homosexuality) in 2014. Her book addresses the lies that today's youth are being told from adults who, in most cases, know they are misleading them.
Mrs. Harvey began as a reporter before getting into activism. She credits Alfred Kinsey's (1894-1956) with starting the idea that homosexuality was common and normal in both men and women. Alfred Kinsey, a zoologist by training, compiled the findings from interviews into two books that were the opening salvos of the sexual revolution that soon swept the United States: Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948) and Sexual Behavior in the Human Female (1953). Both works contain many sweeping assertions and often move quickly from tables full of data to moral speculation about the repressed sexual ethics of America. In 1947 Kinsey founded the Institute for Sex Research at Indiana University, now simply known as The Kinsey Institute, still in existence today.
The World Net Daily columnists believes we are in a war that involves highly institutionalized child abuse. Children are being presented with concepts about sexuality that should never be presented to them at such a young age. Alternate viewpoints are being withheld, which is resulting in gender confused children. Mrs. Harvey recounted a situation where girls and boys could no longer be lined up as boys and girls, but instead the two lines had to be called other names like peanut butter and jelly. The politically correct language of transgender advocates is to say — rather than being born a boy or a girl — is now "assigned a gender" at birth.
Obama has mandated open school bathrooms through the Title IX sex discrimination law, over seen by the U.S. Department of Education and the Department of Justice, which must apply to boys who believe they are girls, etc. Obama is threatening to pull funding from schools if they don't comply. Already 23 states are suing over this edict that is not yet U.S. law. Hillary Clinton has endorsed Obama’s Decree on Transgender Bathrooms, Gender Identity, and as reported in the WSJ on October 27, 2016, Hillary is proposing to use the bully pulpit, and $500 Million, to Fight Bullying if she becomes president. Hillary is blaming Donald Trump for what she now perceives as an urgency for a persistent problem. However, Education Week, citing FBI statistics, reported recently that bullying is down in schools.
LGBTQ behavior is already being promoted in many schools — the 3.2 million NEA members support the agenda — although transgenderism harms children and questions harshly how adults can foist radical transsexual surgeries and hormone treatments on the very young and gender-confused teenagers. Consider that in Oregon, 15-year-olds can receive hormone treatment or surgery to "become" the opposite gender without parental consent, paid for by Medicaid. Kids learn this option at school-based health clinics.
The LGBTQ agenda is being introduced into schools through "Anti-bullying" programs; more "LGBTQ" material in Sex-Ed programs; LGBTQ literature in school libraries, and school-wide events such as Ally Week, Day of Silence, and "gay" history month.
As of Oct. 3 of this year the U.S. military (funded by taxpayers) will pay for gender reassignment surgery for transgender soldiers, a program that could cost up to $8.4 million a year.
Mrs. Harvey cited the following report that appeared in The New Atlantis, fall, 2016, and another by psychiatrist Dr. Paul McHugh about transgenderism:
"The understanding of sexual orientation as an innate, biologically fixed property of human beings — the idea that people are "born that way" – is not supported by scientific evidence."
Dr. Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist in chief at John Hopkins University, had this to say about the "sex change" issue:
"Sex change is a biological impossibility," and transgenderism is not a right but a "mental disorder that needs understanding, treatment and prevention."
Another study cited by Mrs. Harvey, as published by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) on August 12, 2016, ties more risky behavior to GLB teens than to other teens. They are more likely to drink alcohol, smoke, use marijuana & other drugs, to attempt suicide, to be victims of sexual or physical dating violence, to be sexually active, to have had 4 or more partners, to have had sex before age 13.
The data for the above study was collected during 2015 through a survey of 15,000 kids. Questions asked were 1. What are you most comfortable being? 2. What are you more likely to be doing?
Another study in the New Atlantis offered by Mrs. Harvey shows further negative consequences that the non-heterosexual population faces:
"Members of the non-heterosexual population are estimated to have about 1.5 times higher risk of experiencing anxiety disorders that members of the heterosexual population, as well as roughly double the risk of depression, 1.5 times the risk of substance abuse, and nearly 2.5 times the risk of suicide."
Mrs. Harvey introduced what was a new scientific term to most in attendance, Neuroplasticity:
"Brain plasticity science is the study of a physical process. Gray matter can actually shrink or thicken; neural connections can be forged and refined or weakened and severed. Changes in the physical brain manifest as changes in our abilities. For example, each time we learn a new dance step, it reflects a change in our physical brains: new "wires" (neural pathways) that give instructions to our bodies on how to perform the step."
Soft tissue exists in the brain of children during childhood. Sexual experience at a too early age leads children to laser focus on instant gratification, which demands that more vigilance be observed in what children are being exposed to.
Regarding AIDS, it is no longer a death sentence even if a person does progress on to having full blown AIDS. Drugs now available allow homosexual youth to engage in aberrant sex without fearing debilitating illness and death. However, even though HIV is less deadly due to expensive medications, syphilis and hepatitis continue to ravage homosexual men at rates vastly higher than non-homosexuals.
The "Born Gay" myth is still popular. There is proof, which homosexual activists reject, that people who once lived as "gay" or lesbian (or "transgender") can change and live honorably according to the natural, created purpose of their bodies before God.
The pro-homosexual lobby is well funded. Unless citizens demand an end to the media's incessant promotion of the gay and transgender agenda, it will be too late to return this nation to a state of sexual sanity in which the health and well-being of our children is protected, instead of being undermined.
