ARLINGTON HEIGHTS – At its new headquarters in northwest suburban Arlington Heights, the conservative think tank Heartland Institute will hold a forum Wednesday afternoon on the topic of "A Health Care Agenda for Millennials, featuring Charlie Katebi.
America’s health care system is rigged against Millennials. Under Obamacare, young people face higher costs, fewer choices, and less access than ever before. It’s time lawmakers face the health care crisis that threatens America’s youth, the Institute says.
At 4:00 PM CST, Charlie Katebi, fellow in health care reform at the Millennial Policy Center, will discuss "Revitalizing Healthcare in America," a recent policy paper he coauthored that shows how policymakers can make health care products and services more affordable, accessible, and patient-centered for young adults and citizens of all ages.
With a repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act on the horizon and the ongoing debate about health care in America, the forum will offer info about the current health care mess and how to clean it up. It will be viewable LIVE on YouTube HERE.
