ALGONQUIN – After being hit with over five inches of rain Wednesday, rivers in northern Illinois could reach record levels Saturday. Schools, businesses and residences are dealing with power outages and flooded basements.
Governor Rauner will visit the areas affected by Fox and Des Plaines River flooding Friday, while local officials deal with emergency conditions. The rivers could hit record levels Saturday before receding.
