Shannon Shepherd (l) and Jennifer Nevins (r)
President Trump's executive order to keep families together that chose to cross America's southern border at locations other than official ports of entry was the topic of conversation on WTTW's Chicago Tonight (PBS) this week.
The discussion – worth a listen in our opinion – was between immigration attorney Shannon Shepherd, a member of the Chicago Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association; and Jennifer Nevins, a Trump delegate from Illinois to the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Nevins, a rising star among Illinois conservatives, represented her viewpoint well, without sarcasm and with respect for the person representing the opposing view.
