Letter to Editor:
Here we are again, getting ready to go to the polls on November 6th. Big decisions to be made and I fear they are made on hearsay and sham information.
I support Ken Idstein for State Representative for District 62 because I have known him since the 1980’s. I have worked in real estate and he was and still is in the mortgage loan business.
He was always respectful to us and never dismissal or discourteous even if we didn’t use his company for a mortgage. He was always friends, courteous and had a sense of humor.
Illinois is in a very precarious situation with the blame on the governor. However, I believe the assembly is where the responsibility lies to make the decisions in Illinois. Both parties need to work together to make laws and a budget good for Illinois and all of its citizens.
It is our responsibility to learn about each candidate, not just vote party lines.
That is why I am supporting Ken Idstein. For the past several weeks I have received campaign literature that is full of lies and slandering Ken. Don’t believe the opposition campaign! We must lean all we can about the man or woman running for office so you know their ideas jive with yours.
Vote for Ken Idstein – He will be good for Illinois.
