Anybody who has studied history knows that the average life of a democracy over the last 2,600 years is only 200 years and America is already 243 years old. As Edward Gibbons, the author of "The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" said, “Rome fell because of the insidious poison of free bread and circuses” which today we call welfare and free government programs or socialism.
America is the greatest and most prosperous nation in the history of the world which has brought freedom to over a billion people with our blood and treasure. America was based on our Bill of Rights including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the right to bear arms, individual responsibility, national sovereignty, and a limited government.
All those core principles which made America great are now under attack by Democrats.
The Democrat Party has become the Democrat Socialist Party which supports free healthcare for all (including illegal immigrants!), free college, The Green New Deal which will cost $93 trillion and destroy our economy, and they want to take away our Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, and the right to bear arms.
We already have a crippling national debt of $22 trillion which is more than our annual GDP yet Democrats want to give away even more free stuff to buy more votes. Just like Rome did until Rome collapsed and plunged into “The Dark Ages."
America is at the razor’s edge of losing its freedom and prosperity which is why the 2020 elections are so critical. Either we vote Republican to keep this great nation great and free or we follow Rome’s and Venezuela’s socialist path of government control to destruction by voting for Democrats.
