BOLINGBROOK – Former U 46 District School Board member Jeanette Ward announced her bid to succeed state Senator Jim Oberweis (R-Aurora) in Illinois' 25th Senate District. (Oberweis is running for US Congress in the 14th CD).
Jeanette's one of those fought-for suburban moms in the western suburbs that is concerned about what they're teaching her kids in school and how they're handling controversial issues in taxpayer funded schools.
