The main stream media doesn’t give abortion much coverage, but that doesn’t stop people that support life from getting the word out. This week about 25 pro life advocates took to the streets of Chicago to "Show Victims of Abortion."

Volunteers stood silently with 4 by 5 foot signs on the intersections of Chicago's Fullerton & Ashland and Addison & Elston. An estimated 5000 cars passed these busy corners in these high traffic area while the volunteers were on public sidewalks. While the signs are considered graphic to most – as is the horrors of abortion – nearby a billboard read “A Baby is a Baby, born and unborn.”
Joseph M. Scheidler started the Pro-Life Action League in 1980 with the aim of saving unborn children through non-violent direct action. Now 92 years old, Joe and his wife Ann joined the volunteers on a corner holding a sign this week. Their son Eric Scheidler is continuing the family's pro-life leadership.
