DECATUR – The First Amendment protects citizen rights to freely practice religion, freely express opinions, honestly report in the media, and numerous other precious freedoms. The US Constitution's Second Amendment protects a citizen's right to bear arms. Other parts of the Bill of Rights clearly spells out the freedom US citizens hold dear.

Tuesday September 17, 2019 is the 232nd Anniversary of the day the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia sent the proposed United States Constitution to the states for ratification.
The celebration will be viewable online through the Constitution Day Live Stream.
Tuesday evening, Restore Our Constitution is presenting David Shestokas, author of Constitutional Sound Bites and Creating the Declaration of Independence. Shestokas is an Illinois Conservative Union senior fellow and Heartland Institute policy advisor on constitutional Issues. He is a practicing attorney licensed in Illinois and Florida.
The Facebook live stream will begin Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Central Daylight Time (CDT).
