WASHINGTON – Pro-abortion activists are cheering Monday after US Supreme Court Justice John Roberts sided with the Left to overturn Louisiana's state law requiring abortionists to have admission credentials to send their patients to a hospital within a 30 mile radius.
"We do not have a short-term, viable solution to end abortion legally at this time," Mark Harrington of Created Equal. said in a reaction to the decision.
Chief Justice John Roberts cast his vote against the limitation, making the vote 5 to 4 – with Justice Thomas and Scalia writing dissenting opinions. Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch voted against the decision, but did not write dissenting opinions.
