Clare Lopez, Founder of Lopez Liberty LLC, Retired CIA Operations Officer, Author, and Counter-Terrorism Expert, presented a news briefing, streamed live on July 13, 2020, in which she discussed the ongoing explosions in Iran and their impact on Iran's nuclear programs/sites and (2) how the Muslim Brotherhood is working hand-in-hand with BLM and Antifa to create a new alliance of Red-Green-Black, whose plans are to destroy America.
When alerted to Ms. Lopez's news briefing, Thorner was intrigued over the two issues that were to be discussed. Although Thorner considers herself well versed on the issues of the day, both issues covered by Lopez had escaped her attention and therefore seemed essential to pass along to Illinois Review readers.
Part 1: Series of suspicious fires and explosions Related by Lopez were a series of suspicious fires and explosions at sites in Iran:
- 2 nuclear sites
- 2 power plants
- 1 petrochemical factory
- 3 other mysterious fires
The most critical of the explosions were further explained by Lopez by date up to and including July 10, 2020:
June 26: A blast near a military complex of Parchin, caused a spectacular explosion. It was said to be a a natural gas tank storage accident, but this would not have caused an enormous red flame in the night sky. It was possibly a solid fuel missile plant.
The same night an explosion hit a power plant in Shiraz, causing a blackout of the city.
June 30: Nineteen were killed at the Sina At'har health center in Tehran. The cause of that explosion is unknown, but as has been seen in places like Gaza, jihadist elements are known to place military facilities underneath a medical facility.
As Lopez explained, according to the Geneva Accords (an international treaty) it is a war crime to co-locate a military facility together with a civilian structure.
July 2nd: A big explosion took place at an assembly plant in Natanz where thousands of the newer IR-4 centrifuges were being assembled to enrich uranium so the end-product would result in usable amounts of enriched uranium to make uranium bombs.
July 4th: An explosion damaged a power plant in the Iranian city of Ahvaz. On the same day , some six dozen people were injured from a chlorine gas leak at a petrochemical company.
July 10: In the early hours of the morning in W. Tehran, a blast hit an area with underground facilities associated with chemical weapons research and an unidentified military production site.
A check of the Internet will reveal that explosions are still taking place in Iran.
Analysis by Ms. Lopez of the Iran situation
Lopez believes there may be collaboration among whichever parties are responsible for this spate of "incidents," as it seems these attacks against Iranian industrial, military and nuclear sites are well-coordinated. Most importantly, Iran seems incapable of detecting the threats ahead of time or stopping the attacks in advance.
There is some speculation that Israel could be using cyber warfare against some of the facilities. The attacks could also be orchestrated internally by the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), the largest and best-organized of the democratic, pro-U.S./pro-Western Iranian dissident movements.
As to who is responsible for the attacks, Lopez believes it is better left unsaid who is responsible, for an admission would pressure Iran to retaliate with a counter strike. An attack on this nation would most likely be done by a proxy organization like Hizballah, which has an extensive network inside the U.S.
The attacks have slowed down Iran's development of nuclear weapons especially with the destruction of the assembly plant at Natanz for advanced centrifuges and the subsequent building of nuclear warheads. This has set Iran back a year or even two.
Deal of July, 2015 – JCPOA
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program reached in Vienna on July 14, 2015, between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council —China, France, Russia, United Kingdom, United States—plus Germany) together with Iran and the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).
The JCPOA was never really a treaty and was never actually signed by anyone. According to the IAEA, Iran is in breach of virtually all the obligations laid out in the treaty.
Said Lopez: “Even if the European partners of Britain, France, and Germany wanted to revive JCPOA, it cannot be resuscitated at this point because of the Iranian regime's violation of most of its provisions. Iran is continuing to block the IAEA from visiting two of its nuclear sites. Among other violations, Iran has also over produced its stockpile of fissile material.”
Part 2: Green part of the Red/Black/Green access of the streets in the U.S.
Clare Lopez explained how she gleans lots of her information from social media sites. She follows and sees accounts of Brotherhood-affiliated Sharia adherent Muslims and the imaging and language they are using. There is open support in many for arson, street demonstrations, burning police cars, and defunding the police.
It's understood that "Red" refers to Marxist groups like Antifa, and "Black" is linked to the Black Lives Matter movement, likewise a communist/Marxist/Maoist organization. The Red and Black movements are now linked with the Green movement, not to be confused with the environmental green movement. And all are of the same mind set to destroy this nation.
Lopez went on to explain that the Green movement is comprised of those who associate themselves with the Islamic movement and the Muslim Brotherhood, the vanguard of the Islamic movement in the U.S., which is not in any way associated with the green environmental movement.
The Green Islamic movement used to be behind the scene, having taken a back seat by not physically being out on the streets protesting. This may no longer be the situation. Over the past few months, there has been an increase in violent rhetoric as well as imagery online. Through sermons and speeches, the Green Islamic movement is now allowing its influence to become more visible. There have been calls for violence by the Islamic movement and affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR, the U.S. branch of HAMAS) has been especially vocal.
Ms. Lopez then directed attention to some events that shed light on the linking of the Islamic Green movement with street violence.
In December 2015, a joint conference was held in Chicago of the Muslim American Society (MAS) and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). Both MAS and ICNA are Muslim Brotherhood front groups. Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of CAIR, spoke very specifically at the meeting, saying: "Black Lives Matter is our Matter," which explicitly ties the Muslim Brotherhood of America with the Black Lives Matter movement. At the same conference, there was an open call for a violent Islamic uprising here in America by the Muslim Brotherhood from Khalila Sabra, an African-American convert to Islam, who was affiliated with MAS.
In December 2019, senior Muslim Brotherhood members in Chicago condemned police for alleged brutality and racial injustice, and issued a call that U.S. police officers not be sent to Israel for training.
In March 2020, the following information came from the Middle East Media Research Institute(MEMI) that translates speeches and sermons: A Chicago Iman called upon Muslims to arm themselves in an online sermon, telling Muslims to "go out and get weapons because you never know about your Trump supporting neighbors who probably don't like you very much."
In June 29, 2020, Al-Qa'eda issued a statement calling on American and Western Muslims "to revolt against unjust rulers."
Food for thought
As to presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden when recently speaking to a summit of Muslim voters, he told them he wished U.S. schools taught more about Islam.
Biden told the voters he would end President Trump’s travel ban affecting Muslim-majority countries on day one of his presidency and blamed the White House’s current occupant for “an unconscionable rise in Islamophobia.”
Emgage Action, the country’s largest Muslim American PAC, endorsed Biden in April after endorsing Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary.
