A Zoom presentation on Thursday, August 27, 2020 sponsored by America's Black Robed Regiment featured Alex Newman, an international journalist, educator, author, and consultant. Mr. Newman used slides to add clarity to his excellent narrative.
Newman's first slide presented disturbing information about millennials and set the tone for what followed. For the first time the majority of millennials are non-church goers. Furthermore, 36% of millennials view communism favorably. How did this come about? Through brainwashing in our schools, the church is being crushed because of education.
Could one factor in this disturbing development be the Engel v. Vitale decision of 1963 which prohibited Bible reading in schools? Only one Supreme Justice voted the right way: Justice Potter Stewart.
Said Abraham Lincoln: The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next.
Adolf Hitler understood the advantage of central planning when he said: He Alone, Who Owns the Youth, Gains the Future?
These men were not just making it up. Brainwashing children means we will lose every battle, yet over 85% of children in this nation attend government schools.
A truism therefore exists: As the government schools go, so go the children and the nation.
Agendas for New World Order
The tenets of the New World Order include Socialism, Technocracy, and End of Western-Christian Civilization.
It was George H. W. Bush who signed this nation on to the United Nation's Agenda 21 (called the Earth Summit) in 1992, which called for a profound reorientation of all human society. This was unlike anything the world has ever experienced.
Chapter 36 of Agenda 21 stated that "education is critical for promoting sustainable development. . ." As to the nature of sustainable development, it involved attacks on church, family, private property, truth, marriage, free markets and liberty. Agenda 21 was to be implemented by every person on earth through education.
UN Agenda 2030 was signed by Obama and proclaimed: "Children are critical agents of change and will find in the new goals a platform to channel their infinite capacities and activism into the creation of a better world."
Both UN Agendas put education at the heart of the plot and further acknowledged that indoctrinating future generations was critical to advance the UN's vision for humanity.
By 2012 public schools started using the same tactic to push homosexual marriage, LGBT, and Climate Change, which has resulted in the acceptance today of all three issues by society in general.
Also noted by Newman was that Shirley McCune, author of
The Light Shall Set You Free, published October 25, 1996, worked on National Education Standards for the purpose of preparing students for a society that they would face as adults. As stated about the book, "The information, if applied to our everyday lives, has the power to revolutionize the world."
The transformation of society is working, as can be seen by the acceptance of Drag Queen story hours. As a UCLA report cited, 27% of CA children are gender non-conforming. In Utah a report told of a 10,000 increase in the last 5 years of medical transitions to a new gender involving drugs, hormones, and surgery: 5 in 2015 and 553 in 2019.
Newman noted how Alfred Kinsey, through his quack "research", still underpins sex ed.
Common Core Dumbs Down Children
Obama Pushed Common Core on the States which reflected the UN's New World Order agenda for education. Common Core reduces both literary study and the opportunity for kids to develop critical thinking skills and manipulates, if possible, cultural norms and morals that reflect UN standards.
Microsoft founder Bill Gates financed Common Core with $2 billion, having signed an agreement with UNESCO, the UN education agency, to globalize education. The irony is that both Gates and his children went to elite private schools.
Said University of Arkansas Dr. Sandra Stotsky, the only English Expert on Common Core Validation Committee: “They were written hastily by people who didn't care how poorly written they were.
Dr James Milgram of Stanford, the only Math Expert on Common Core Validation Committee said: "The Core Mathematics Standards are written to reflect very low expectation.
For science, there is no mention of the Scientific Method. The release of greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels is being taught as the major factor in global warming, which has resulted in scaring children about an Earth too warm for survival.
Despite Common Core and more testing, reading and math scores haven't budged in a decade. According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, for 8th graders, over 2/3’s are below proficiency in math and just 1/3 are proficient in reading. For seniors, just 1/4 of seniors are proficient in math and about 1/3 proficient in reading.
Education in Early America
Before education was taken over by the government, Americans received a superior education at home and at private schools supported by parents, philanthropists and churches. The purpose of Puritan schools was to ensure a knowledge of the Bible.
By 1812 most everyone could read. As Frenchman Alexis De Tocqueville observed during his travels throughout our young Republic in 1831 and 1832: "Every citizen receives the elementary notions of human knowledge: He is moreover taught the doctrines, evidences of his religion, the history of his country, and its Constitution."
Yale and other universities such as Harvard and Princeton were founded by Christians primarily to train ministers of the gospel and spread the Christian faith.
Move from Christian Education
Horace Mann took the first step away from classical, Christian education when in 1837 he was appointed as the first ever Educational Secretary of Massachusetts, having been impressed by the Prussian Model. One of its key goals was to equalize the condition of men; hence a socialist view of education. Mann also worked to purge religion from education and further called for compulsory school attendance. As to teaching reading, Mann introduced the whole word method of reading rather than phonics. Rejected as a failure at the time, the whole word approach to reading is now being employed again in our schools.
The next major reformer was John Dewey. Known as the architect of public schools and the Father of the American school system, Dewey visited Lenin's Soviet Union with Rockefeller's money to hijack government education to fundamentally transform America.
As a Religious Humanist, Dewey regarded the universe as self-existing and not created. God didn't exist. Dewey obtained leadership positions at the University of Chicago and the Teachers' College at Columbia University, from which he influence the training of teachers. His whole word books featured children named Dick and Jane.
UNESCO's Role
UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) was founded in 1949 for the purpose of global government, socialism, and humanism by way of education. Its first chief was Sir Julian Huxey, who described as necessary the political unification in some sort of world government, meaning that attitudes and values will be implanted in children through government schools, regardless of what parent want.
In 1990 the UN World Conference on Education for All, known as the Jomtien Declaration, declared in Article 5 that "all children must be subjected to the same standards of learning."
The Dakar Framework for Action, as signed by U.N. members ten years later, called for and required changes in attitudes, values and behavior.
In the summer of 2016, a summit in Korea came up with a planetary action plan in which children must understand their "responsibility to protect the planet and promote UN vision of "common good."
Perhaps the most bizarre example of the UN's effort to globalize education in all schools was the "World Core Curriculum" developed by UN Assistant Secretary General Robert Mullet. It was based on teachings of Lucifer Publishing Company founder Alice Bailey, who was also one of the founders of the occult New Age movement.
As to UNESCO in U.S. classrooms, it was Obama's Education Secretary Arnie Duncan who spoke of UNESO as a "global partner" of U.S. government in creating "green" global citizens. Duncan further said, "Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world.”
Combating Globalist Education
Alex Newman the option is to withdraw from the public education system or prepare for a future of planetary serfdom. Said Newman: "Get children out of the crazy school system. Grab your child and run. Schools are hurting children in every possible way."
Newman then turned to the Bible to convey what God has to say about education. One of several Bible verses chosen by Newman was Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."
There is now an exodus taking place from public schools to home schooling given the Covid-19 pandemic curtailing in-school learning. Presently there are over 2.5 million home school children in this nation. The practice is growing fast. Six million children have already been home schooled. Home schoolers on the average are in the 80th to 90th% percentile on standardized tests, regardless of whether the mother has a high-school diploma.
Over 100 years ago Dr. A.A. Hodge of Princeton Theological Seminary said the following:
“I am as sure as I am of Christ's reign that a comprehensive an centralized system of national education, separated from religion, as is now commonly proposed, will prove the most appalling enginery for the propagation of anti-Christian and atheistic unbelief, and of anti-social nihilistic ethics, individual, social and political, which this sin-rent world has ever seen.”
What we are now fighting was summed up by Alex Newman in Ephesians 6:12:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
