CHICAGO – Republican Jesus Solorio is challenging one of Congress' most radical leftist House members – Chuy Garcia, who succeeded Luis Gutierrez in Illinois' 4th CD in 2019. Solorio released a digital ad pointing out the problems his district faces and why Garcia's answers are harmful to Chicago's Hispanic community.
From his campaign:
CHICAGO – Jesus Solorio, campaigning as the Republican nominee for Illinois’ 4th Congressional District, today announced the kick-off of his final messaging blitz to voters through Election Day beginning with today’s theme: “America’s Crossroads.”
In these closing weeks Jesus will vividly illustrate his vision for our future on the economy, healthcare, education, public safety and immigration, in contrast to incumbent Chuy Garcia, who continues to support the failed policies of the past.
Noting the passion for change he’s experienced from people across the district, Solorio called for new solutions:
“When I entered this race, I committed myself to telling voters the truth. That truth is our communities need bold leaders who will roll up their sleeves and work for Main Street Americans instead of serving a corrupt political system that stacks the deck against working families struggling to live their daily lives. Chuy Garcia has failed to lead us forward on the most important issues we face today. I HAVE a vision for our district.
With your support, I will work tirelessly to ensure all of our neighbors can participate in a growing economy and enjoy access to quality healthcare and improved educational opportunities for children.”
Jesus Solorio is a proud son of Mexican immigrants whose upbringing on Chicago’s Southside instilled the values of drive and persistence in seeking the American Dream. Today, Jesus helps individuals and organizations develop positive relationships with the Hispanic community.
