CHICAGO – Wednesday morning, Gov JB Pritzker re-affirmed his edict shutting down inside restaurant dining by citing on his Facebook page a Korean study published November 23, 2020 entitled, "Evidence of Long-Distance Droplet Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 by Direct Air Flow in a Restaurant in Korea."
COVID is "airborne, so it affects all of us," he wrote, and went on to say "indoor dining can be unsafe due to airborne transmission."
While counties like western suburban DuPage County report less than .5 percent of the COVID cases being traced to indoor restaurant dining.
