NEW JERSEY – Not only are animal lovers upset about Dr. Anthony Fauci's connections to newly-revealed experiments on beagles, nearly half of voters believe Dr. Anthony Fauci lied about U.S. funding for “gain-of-function” research. A plurality think the government’s top COVID-19 expert should be forced to resign.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 33% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Fauci has told the truth about U.S. government funding for gain-of-function virus research. That’s a decline from June, when 40% believed Fauci had told the truth.
Forty-nine percent (49%) now say Fauci hasn’t told the truth about funding gain-of-function research. Nineteen percent (19%) are not sure.
