ST LOUIS – The late Phyllis Schlafly, a national conservative leader that fought the implementation of the Equal Rights Amendment nearly 50 years ago, predicted if the Leftist feminists of her day had their way, a time would come when there would be no difference between men and women bathrooms.
At the time, the media laughed at what they considered her hysteria.
Schlafly's son Andy recalled hearing her words, and sent this over to Illinois Review for publication. We're honored.
Phyllis Schlafly, sadly, was absolutely right – and urges Virginia voters to "vote to stop it" next week in their gubernatorial race between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Glenn Youngkin.
Youngkin has taken a late lead in the blue state.
