Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi like to refer to their proposed $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation package as “Build Back Better.” In reality, they should call it, “Build China Better.” The reconciliation bill’s wind and solar energy mandates would force the abandonment of American energy production and make us heavily dependent on Chinese materials, equipment, and infrastructure.
In a presentation this afternoon, I presented four PowerPoint slides showing how foreign nations – and particularly China – dominate the mining and processing of materials necessary for wind and solar equipment, and how China similarly dominates the manufacturing of wind turbines and solar panels.
