The Kyle Rittenhouse trial was a critical test for America to see if we still have the courage to support the rule of law, our Constitution, our 2nd Amendment, and our God given right to defend ourselves. Anybody who actually watched the trial and saw the hard facts could see that Kyle Rittenhouse was attacked by 3 criminals that put his life in severe danger. All three of those attackers were convicted criminals including one who was convicted of several charges of sexual assault on children. The surviving attacker admitted under oath that Rittenhouse did not point his gun at him until he pointed his pistol at Rittenhouse putting his life in danger. Only then did Rittenhouse shoot him. The other two attackers threatened to kill him and either tried to take his gun away or hit him in the head and neck with a skateboard which could have killed Rittenhouse. There could not have been a clearer example of the right to defend oneself.
But facts don’t matter to the “Fake News” or liberal Democrats who lied about the facts and constantly slandered Rittenhouse. They relentlessly called him a “White Supremacist” (including Democrat President Biden) even though Rittenhouse and the 3 men he shot were all white. Race had no bearing on this case. They constantly called him a terrorist who illegally brought an illegal gun across the state border and was there to cause violence. The truth is that Rittenhouse came to Kenosha to help clean his friend’s businesses after violent riots and to offer medical care for those that were hurt. After all he was a life guard who helped people! His father lived in Kenosha and the legal gun he had was from a friend in Kenosha which he brought to defend himself if needed. When he was attacked, he first tried to flee from his attackers until he was knocked down by them and had no choice but to defend himself with his legal rifle which is his 2nd Amendment right. After he shot them he ran to the police to report what happened and explained that he was simply defending himself. Thankfully, this was all recorded on videos which defeated the prosecutor’s attempt to hide the truth.
Sadly, for months the “Fake News” and liberal Democrats lied about this tragedy and hid the truth from the American people. Even the prosecutors did. On top of that, the prosecutors broke the law by challenging Rittenhouse’s right to not comment about this tragedy until he testified in court and they hid exculpatory evidence that proved Rittenhouse was innocent from the defense attorneys. They also ignored the judge’s orders about what they were not allowed to ask Rittenhouse and thankfully were harshly criticized for that by the judge in front of the jury. Then the judge found out that the prosecution illegally charged Rittenhouse for having an “illegal rifle” which was found to be perfectly legal and he dropped that charge. The “Fake News” held the truth from the American people and spread untruth about the case for months. Liberals around the country attacked Rittenhouse and put massive pressure on the jury to convict him. MSNBC even went so far as to follow the bus bringing the jury to their hotel rooms which was an obvious attempt to intimidate them. Any rational person could tell that the “Fake News” and liberal Democrats were threatening the jury that if they didn’t find Rittenhouse guilty, they were in serious personal danger.
And then the jury provided a magnificent “Profile In Courage”. Despite the threats to their safety and even their lives, the jury methodically reviewed the facts for over two days and came to the obvious conclusion that any informed and honest person would come to, Rittenhouse thought his life was in danger and used his 2nd Amendment right to defend himself. The jury correctly found him innocent of all charges even though the jury knew that the “Fake News” and liberal Democrats would slanderously and dishonestly attack them for doing so. The hysterical reaction from the “Fake News” and liberal Democrats regarding the jury’s decision was beyond the pale. They attacked Rittenhouse, the jury, the 2nd Amendment, and the rule of law. Many high level Democrat politicians demanded that we “fix” our legal system and eliminate the 2nd Amendment. Thankfully, the brave jury in Kenosha showed that there are still many brave people in America that are willing to risk their safety and even their lives for freedom, our Bill of Rights, and our 2nd Amendment. Between this brave decision and the rebellion of “Momma Bears” that are willing to defend their “cubs” when it comes to what our schools teach their children, this may be the “Wake Up Call” America needed to protect our freedom and this great republic!
