AURORA – A second-term mayor of one of Illinois' largest cities and a young female downstate state rep unveiled their campaign website as Republican gubernatorial primary team candidates Monday: IrvinBourne.com – Mayor Richard Irvin and State Rep. Avery Bourne (R-Litchfield).

The announcement video links Irvin back to his family's slave roots:
Irvin/Bourne join several other candidate teams vying to challenge JB Pritzker in November: Gary Rabine and Aaron DelMar; Senator Darren Bailey and Stephanie Trussell, former Senator Paul Schimpf and Carol Scholfield, as well as a few others that have little name recognition or financial backing thus far.
