A couple of hundred students and parents gathered Monday at noon to protest Governor Pritzker's mask mandate rules. They met at District 181 offices in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. The event was organized Ryan Steele, who is a candidate for the Illinois State Senate 23rd District.
On Friday, Sangamon County Circuit Court Judge Raylene Grischow granted a temporary restraining order that basically eliminated the mask mandate for students in Illinois schools. Here is the 29 page ruling from the judge.
The nine schools here in this consolidated district decided today to go “remote” (no in-person classes). The parents and students are very upset. Watch for many developments happening this week.
