Recently the Federal Bureau of Investigation sent out a statement denying a SWAT team was sent to arrest Catholic activist Mark Houck, but did not deny that weapons were pointed at Mr. Houck, his wife and seven children.
According to Catholic News Agency, the FBI spokesman who issued the statement declined to answer questions about the number of FBI officers at the scene or whether weapons were drawn and pointed at the family.
In 1840 the author of “Democracy in America” Alexis de Tocqueville described governmental power of soft tyranny in America.
“…The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd…”
Sadly, this accurately depicts the current USA federal departments of the DOJ, FBI and IRS. This dangerous brand of government oppresses through the power of deceit.
