Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and economist Stephen Moore are set to take the stage during the Trump Now Save the American Dream Rally on Sunday at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, a day before the start of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The rally, hosted by former Republican candidate for governor and businessman Gary Rabine, is expected to draw Trump supporters from Illinois and Wisconsin as Chicago prepares to host the DNC starting on Monday. Other invited speakers include Tom Meredith, Kimberly Fletcher, Tiffany Justice, IL GOP chair Kathy Salvi, IL GOP co-chair Aaron Del Mar, RNC national committeeman Dean White, Tom Sodeika, Chuck Barham, Gary Franchi, Joco Booyens, former Chicago radio host Mancow and Pastor Corey Brooks. AM 560 radio hosts Amy Jacobson, Shaun Thompson, John Anthony and Republican state central committee member Jeanne Ives are also slated to speak.
Retired U.S. Army Gen. Michael Flynn was originally scheduled to speak, but earlier in the week, he signaled that he was unable to attend. And late on Saturday, legendary political strategist and longtime Trump advisor Roger Stone, had to pull out at the last minute as well.
On Saturday evening, it was reported that official attendees at the DNC in Chicago are set to receive a unique perk this week: free abortions or a vasectomy as Planned Parenthood Great Rivers in Missouri is deploying a mobile health center just blocks from the convention site.
Vasectomies will be offered on Monday only, and the wait list is growing according to the New York Post and the New York TImes. Medication abortions will be available on Monday and Tuesday.
An appointment reservation form indicates that “Services will be provided on a sliding-fee scale – pay what you can get the health care you need.” The form then concludes with, “Please complete this interest form and we will follow up with you to book an appointment.”
The City of Chicago and Democratic National Committee officials are expecting mass protests during the convention, as more than 150 groups have formed a nationwide coalition to march down city streets leading to the United Center – the site where delegates are expected to officially nominate Vice President Kamala Harris as their Democratic nominee for president.
The nationwide coalition expected to march in Chicago includes groups like Black Lives Matter Chicago, Freedom Socialist Party, Denver Communists, Palestinian Assembly for Liberation, Democratic Socialists of America, Milwaukee for Yemen and National Students for Justice in Palestine. The groups represent the new voice of the Democratic party, and have left traditional Democrats who remain pro-police, pro-Israel, pro-law and order and pro-America, feeling alienated and marginalized.
Many of the groups marching as part of the coalition are also against the deportation of illegal immigrants. And it’s been reported that Chicago – a sanctuary city – has seen an 11,000 percent increase in arrests of Venezuelan migrants since President Joe Biden opened up our southern border. It’s estimated that over 20,000 migrants have arrived in Chicago in the last year, costing more than $400 million – with 25 buses arriving each day dropping off an average of 1,250 migrants around the city and various surrounding communities.
Law enforcement officials insist that they are prepared for the marches and are calling on the groups to march peacefully. The DNC will be in Chicago August 19-22.
